LIFE IS PRECIOUS

LIFE IS PRECIOUS — satsuki shibuya . journal

one may associate doing dishes with a negative thought, that of a chore that one must accomplish, but for one person who loathes doing dishes, there is another who wishes they could stand at the sink and wash dishes when they like.

one may associate exercising with a negative thought, one that conjures up self confidence and body figure issues, but for one person who loathes exercising, there is another who wishes they could walk again.

one may associate going to work with a negative thought, that which is connected to doing something unfulfilling, uninspiring and monotonous, but for one person who loathes going to work everyday, there is another who wishes they could have a job to call their own.

one may associate living under particular circumstances with a negative thought, that which is connected to comparison and pride, but for one person who feels unworthy, there is another who wishes only to have a home that will keep them safe.

one may associate the actual act of living with a negative thought, that which is associated with drama, loneliness and being outcasted, but for one person who feels that their life is not worth living, there is another who truly wanted to be a part of this world and had to pass on without becoming flesh and blood.

if we truly think about all the things we are able to accomplish, feel and experience, we realize quickly that nothing is a guarantee, even down to our own existence. once we are able to understand this, we awaken to the importance of our own life and all of life that surrounds us.
